Maybe the Grobanites in sydney can help too! Like we can do our best to keep the costs down, but we don't have to travel or anything, so maybe we can support your fundraising efforts.. that sounds fair, valid point annali

Count me in, Sydney would be great, and I'm sure I could work in with whatever date you go for.

Im in too. I also think it is fair to do some sort of fundraiser to help the 'non-Sydney' grobies get here. Woohoo can't wait.

wow......i didnt expect this great a response!!!! but what the heck, lets run with it and see how far we can take it!!!
i have no problem organising stuff....we're gonna need finalised numbers before we can book hotels, we have to see what hotels have what prices n if we can get a discount with a mass booking, we need to look at flights (both availability and cost), we need to look at WHAT we;re actually gonna do over there (when/where we meet up, what ''touristy'' (if any) things we do for the benefit of the non-sydney people....can u imagine a jet boat full of grobies?
omgomgomgomg....i could just keep talking and planning more n more n more stuff......
im not saying IM ORGANISING!! but if anyone else has objections/ wants to organise/doesnt want me to, that cool, just lemme know before my imagination decides itself whether to run away or not!!

I'm happy to help with organising too - it might be good to have someone in Sydney helping out since interstate phone calls to hotels etc may end up being expensive. Let me know what you think

I don't mind helping out with the organising too... Just point me in the right direction... I'm sure we'll find plenty of things to do in Sydney...

thats probably the best way to go...have this continent covered from coast to coast...man, sydney is not gonna know what hit them....neither is city extra....im thinking we should just start saving for a massive tip for those poor people...just when they recover from us, BAM!! we hit them again!!!
