Josh's last show in Melbourne! I'm sure it'll be an absolute blast! But go one better - tell us how it went!

Hey there,
Looks like I'm the first to reply. It was simply amazing! I had such a blast. The M&G beforehand was great, I met the most lovely Grobanites! We then went into Hamer Hall, and admittedly, I was a bit disappointed because I bought my tickets late and had to sit in the balcony, whereas all our friends from the M&G had seats in the stalls. But.... (and this is the best part)... I can boast that I got closer to Josh than most other people at the concert. As he was doing his walk around during IHE, he started out on the balcony and walked through our row - I touched him on the shoulder as he went past, whilst trying to give him enough room to walk through the narrow seats!
We didn't get to meet him afterwards, but I had such a great time. It was my first Josh live experience - and I loved it!
Cheers, Mario.

Josh's last Melbourne concert was fantastic!! He seemed even more relaxed than normal (and happier). He sounded AMAZING. Several times I just shook my head in disbelief at the scale of his voice -- how does he reach those notes??!!! Even after giving us a drop-dead gorgeous performance, he is still humbled by the audience reaction. And, he 'presented' us with the gift of Awake ... such a beautiful song *sniff*
Hi Mario - It was sooooo great to meet you! I love the way grobies are attracted to each like old friends. Quite remarkable. Glad you got up close and personal with Josh, but sad you didn't get to meet him at the stage door.
Hi Lucille - I know how you feel. I am already dreading my last concert (in Adelaide) *sniff*. I didn't get a chance to ask about the leather bound book, but if I get the opportunity tomorrow at the stage door (fingers crossed), I will. That's if I don't get Josh-brained which has been known to happen ... lol!
*goes off repeating - be happy it happened, not sad it's over*

I'm trying to work on my last two essays for school, but I'm still buzzing from the concert and the experience! I really need to learn how to concentrate..... *mutters to self, must concentrate, must concentrate...* My uni work is usually interesting, but somehow seems boring compared to Josh....

Becs, next time Josh tours, you can join us! Apart from seeing our beloved JOSH in concert, the next best thing is meeting other fans. From meeting for the very first time, we become instant friends. And we can talk to our hearts content about Josh and his music without anyone's eyes glazing over. lol!

Hi guys... I was supposed to go for the M&G on Wednesday but... I couldn't find the place!!! I was really bummed not to be able to meet up with a few fellow Grobies... that would've been great, considering most of my friends think I'm a little "obsessed" with Josh... Oh well... I'm sure there will be other chances given the warm reception Josh got throughout his time in Oz. Melbourne was my 2nd Josh-cert (I went to the 2nd Sydney concert, Oct 1). And it was just FANTASTIC!!! I was so glad Josh sang Awake, 'cos he didn't do that at the Sydney one I went to... I'm amazed how humble he comes across and the way he interacts with the crowd... He grabbed my hand (or was it the other way around?!?) during IHE... which really made my night!!! ;D It was a pity he didn't stay for signing after the show but I guess 9 shows in 13 days (at that point, there was still Adelaide and Perth to go) can really tire the poor guy out. Now... I'm back in Sydney suffering from PCD... HELP!!! Jo

*Hands Jo a pack of Grozac for her PCD*
Hi Jo, sorry you couldn't make the M&G. I know Federation Square is a big place, but you should have asked someone where Cafe Chinotto was. Oh well, NEXT TIME you can join us. It's great socialising with like minded people. We can talk about Josh all the time and nobody wants to change the topic!! Glad that you got to hear Josh sing Awake. I was at the second Syd show too where he didn't do it. To be honest, we (the audence) didn't deserve it that night. And you're right ... Josh's touring schedule is gruelling. I certainly couldn't do it. He must have amazing stamina, but in the end, still needs as much rest as he can get.
Here's to many more Josh-certs!!!!
Luv, Angela

Hi Most excellent, i'm sure those who've had to live with me for the past week (esp family and work friends) think i should be scheduled! He's all i talk about, give me some GROZAC too please. I knew nothing about him before the sydney concert, but am slowly learning after surfing the internet. The Sydney concert i went to (4th oct), josh went off like a frog in a sock! On his official website they're urging us to contact Rove to try to get Josh to appear on it! Unfortunately didnt get his autograph though, but got a photo on my phone in syd, and took some photos in mel! Wish i had enough money to follow him around the world! I'd carry his bags, or or anything! bec

Bugger
do you mean that other people have also had that idea!
Before the concert i thought i'd better pre-warn the people sitting around me that i scream! You know being the kind hearted person that i am! Well the response from the guy sitting to my right was "well i give you prior warning that i have a sock and i will shove it in your mouth and it will still be attached to my foot"! i thought that was most rude of him, i mean where's his sense of humour! hmm

Geez, what a cheek of that guy and his sock still attached to his foot.
I didn't warn people in front that I would scream. I got a couple of dirty looks but I didn't care. Hey, sometimes I find people holding up their mobiles in front of me annoying, but I wouldn't say anything. So my view is .. I annoy you. You annoy me. We're even.
