I noticed this announcement tonight when I was on Ticketmaster (for Josh's Melbourne concerts). It's going to be a long show!!! From memory, other shows I have been to (say Michael Buble) had the opening act for 20 minutes and internal for 20 minutes. What do you guys think about the running schedule? I assume this is the same for other cities?
Additional Information:
Running Times: (approx)
Katie Noonan: 8:00pm - 8:30pm Interval: 8:30pm - 9:00pm Josh Groban: 9:00pm - 11:00pm

The times are about right. This summer when I saw Josh, Angelique sang from 8-8:45pm, intermission was a half hour and then Josh sang approximately 1 hour, 45 minutes, depending on how many encores he did. He doesn't always sing "Awake" and he and Angelique did a duet, as mentioned. See you all soon!!! Grobie hugs, Marilyn

Speaking of encores.......I read an article from Montreal where Josh did 4 encores cos the crowd wouldn't shut up!!! He stayed an extra 20 mins!!! SOOOOO...... if we do enough screaming & feet stomping.........

I wonder, why do we need an interval so early into the concert? Is it just because they don't want to disrupt Josh's performance?

I hope so! But in the States there was a 20 min intermission before 'In Her Eyes' so he could get up the back to walk thru the crowd while singing it.....
