Hey Juwita!
desktop/multimedia designer: I am interested in becoming one part of the graphic team.
photos. need 12 photos for each month + 1 special photo for the cover of the calendar: The Perth Grobies will compile our photos that we captured from his show by the end of the week (Nov 17).
JG's memorable quotes: We can start compiling now
last page of calendar: brief bio of JG : brilliant idea!
And we gotta determine the size of the calendar as well.
Good start, Juwita! It seems that you're very organized! I can start working after the 22nd Nov, since I'm having exam.
When is gonna be the completion of this project?

OK, I know nothing about this sort of thing, but I use calendars religiously and big squares (with lotsa writing room) with little numbers are the best. And I'll be fiiiiiiiinally contributing my Syd concert pics on Sunday @ the m&g, so hopefully there's at least 1 worth including in it........

okay, we have to create a separate thread for this calendar idea. we need to have a tasklist (each task is a separate subthread)
i'll try to make a tasklist soon and check with the moderators. and hopefully get them to create a section for this. whoever's interested can sign up under the specific tasks. that way we don't get confused with who's doing what
i'm supposed to be working....

I'm thinking of a desktop calendar instead of a wall calendar. I sent an email to Loretta with a pic of a desktop calendar. Would you be able to post it here, Loretta? thank you.

hey everyone, here's the task list. hope this helps. i'm a bit of an organised freak... ;D. if everyone's ok with this, maybe we can create threads for separate tasks (i'll leave that with the admin) with a list of ppl in charge for that specific job. so whoever's interested can contact that person for more details etc. feel free to think of more stuff to add..thanks!!DESIGN 1. Photos- Concert pictures from members, review and selection
- Referencing (date, author, venue etc.)
2. Copywriting- Memorable Joshie quotes
- Slogans/ additional text
- Credits
- Josh's bio
- AGU brief info
- Objective of calendar
- Calendar content (dates, public hols, Josh's birthday, AGU anniversary etc)
PROMOTION 1. Budget- Printing cost
- Targeted quantity/ sales
- Bookkeeping
2. Sponsors 3. Sales/ Marketing- Online orders, bookings etc.
- FOJG connections

adelwee, that is excellent! As I mention before, I work in a printing shop. I can help with making a mock-up, one or two samples of the Calendar (at no cost) , before it goes into production. I'm thinking of 200 pieces for a start? Oh, a wall calendar is printed on both side of the page (double sided print) and the cost is double, while desktop calendar is printed on a single side and it is easier to make the lay out, too.
