;D Oh my Josh! What a glorious night it was! Got there early (around 4 p.m.) Adelene, Felicia and Febrini were already there, making posters to hold up at the concert (Adelene's was :Josh, I'm pregnant!) Anyway, got some info that he was arriving around 5, so we made our way to the back stage entrance. Before we had a chance to catch our breaths, this silver blue van pulled up, and there was Josh with a huge grin, and waving at us. We were too stunned to do anything but scream like idiots! The show started brilliantly, of course! Sure enough, Josh noticed Adelene's poster and said something like "That's nice". Most of us Aussie Grobanites managed to get up close and personal when he started singing 'Machine'. We were allowed to go close to the stage and dance! I stood just below right in front of him for 3 songs. Held out my hand and he touched it. OMG, I thought I was going to faint! After the concert, we got him to sign our Awake Program. He was so gorgeous, sweet and generous. He definitely made my day! Thank you to all the Aussie Grobanite Unite members! You guys were awsome! Thanks, Adelene, Febrini, Felicia, Cherri, Sam, Shannon, Sandra, Jan (and Sam's mom) Julie Bell and her brother (who sat next to me)! I had soooooo much fun! Will organise a get-together, soon! Love, Farida

Oh, wow. I don't think I'm gonna be able to get to sleep for a while yet, so I may as well post something here! I laughed muchly at Adelene's poster... when Josh saw it he read it out and just sort of didn't know what to say for a few moments. Then was like, "Well, good on you." And we laughed. Oh! And after recieving his present of a digeridoo, he said he'd be a pro at it when he came back! You promised, Josh! ;D Despite the fact I'd heard most of the jokes before, there were still a few (details and such) that I hadn't heard, and they were all funny. He seemed so relaxed and like he was having a fun time. And he joked rather a lot about losing his mind! Poor Josh! ^^ But was adorable, nonetheless. In Her Eyes was great... I had people behind me who looked around bewilderd for a moment then just watched the TV screen. Silly people! You can see Josh on TV anytime! But he came up and stopped right in front of you, Cherri! Though I don't think he really stopped and sang for anyone. Lucia was phenomenal, as per usual, Tariqh was having a ball up there (and he sang a little during Weeping(?)! That was cool, and somewhat unexpected). Yes! And then when we decided to go up and dance for Machine, the ushers actually let us stand up there... and we stayed through the encore. MOSH PIT! ;D (Sadly, he only did one, and no Awake, even though the crowd was mostly on their feet... the front was, anyway. Someone said his YRMU was a little off (I didn't notice!), so perhaps he was just tired. It's been a pretty intense trip.) And then we waited out the back for him... it was actually really quick - Darren said their flight had been bumped up, so they had to leave quickly, and Josh came out after no more than ten minutes, just sort of signed autographs down the row, responded to comments and moved on. He's not so tall - with my heels I was a little taller than him, actually! (Although I was standing on a curb...) He hopped right in the car once he reached the end of the line. Friendly and polite (and gorgeous close up!), as always, just not dawdling. Oh! And then when me and mum were walking back, we heard this girl on the phone behind us going, "Do you have any private charters going out tonight?" We're not the only ones resisting (or not) the temptation to stalk. >< Ahhh, anyway, I had so much fun. Let's do this again soon, Josh! ETA: Oh! And I loved his Joshified version of Umbrella, that was awesome. (Mum was grinning, despite the fact (or maybe because) she can't stand the original song...!)

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
words can not describe how awesomely awesome tonight was....all of my josh dreams have come true!!! well, not really, but i just felt like saying that........
since the first sydney concert, i have been dreaming of those drumsticks.....he gave one to trish who dropped it and it landed at my feet....fate or what?!
it was amazing....we actually had security sitting in the row down the middle so we couldnt get past but then they moved the chairs and then BAM! there he was up in the audience doing in her eyes and he ran down the middle row and past us and brushed my arm as he went past and then the security never came back, so we just went up during machine and gave him stuff (trish and i had got him an aussi flag bag and it was our bag of random stuff...theres a horseshoe in there, a coloured lightbulb, unopened dental floss, a ballmerang (one of those rubber balls on elastic), then we went to an aussie souvenir shop and got an aussie hat, an oven mitt and i think there was sommething else.....oh yeah and i threw in 2 glowsticks...
then while we were up there, he was singing and, i kid u not, he looked down at the crazy ppl in front of him and he looked at me but i wasnt sure and so i kept eye contact and he kept looking, and then i burst out laughing and broke it but even though it was only a couple of seconds, it felt like ages!!!
as he was going off during one of the encores, he went past trish and i who had our hands our and he got them both before he ran off.....
he didnt do awake, even though the crowd was awesome...
and THEN after, we waited and darren came out and said it was only gonna be real quick and then josh appeared and i gave him my phone and asked him if he could REsign it and he was like 'resign?' and i told him how he had already done it once and rubbed off.....it is DEFINITELY getting contacted and protected 2mrw!!! and then trish had some florida grobies on the phone and josh leant forward and told them hi and he would see them soon and then someone down the line called for him to do an 'aussie aussie aussie' and he did and we replied and then there was talk of how he should just stay here and go to the beach next time and ummm....
oh yeah, someone mentioned him coming back in january and he said the earliest he could be back here is feb......
i'm so meant to be doing my assignments now, so im gonna go and put josh on and work.....
NIGHT ALL!!!
love lauren. xxx

But he came up and stopped right in front of you, Cherri! Though I don't think he really stopped and sang for anyone. He grabbed my hand as he went past. That was a special moment!! Lovely soft hands he has. Brian came out in the break and I called out to him and he came over and chatted to us for quite a while. I introduced Sam and Febrini to him. He only came to Oz at the 2nd lot of Melb shows aAND get this, he remembered me from Tanglewood. He chatted for quite a while about some of the problems we'd had at the concerts with being told to turns off our hearts and glowsticks, not being able to give gifts etc and he said 'just do whatever you like". So with that authority, we decided to get up for "Machine" and dance. I had already managed to get my bag of goodies in though. Brian is such a lovely guy. I'm so happy that Josh has a manager like that. Sam and I had gone to Challenge during the day to see if we could hear any rehearsals. We spoke to the security guys about taking in gifts etc and they didn't know much so I headed up to one of the doors I had seen open and we went in. Darren was down near the stage so we walked down and I called him over. He was like" Do you girls have passes??" and we said No!! We just wanted ask you a question. "Where did you get in??" Umm up the back door..........Can we take in our presents for Josh tonight?? "You know you shouldn't be in here..........insurance rules etc"" blah blah......... Anyway he said if they took our gifts off us at the door they would give them to Josh. When I asked if he would be coming out to sign things after the show he said "I can't discuss what Josh will be doing with you now" - Well HOW RUDE!! We were SOOOO well behaved and all. When he saw me in the stadium with my bag of goodies he came up to me and said "Are you planning on giving that to Josh?" Well YEAH!!!! Then he asked if I would wait until later in the show and he would give me the nod! Well..........I waited and waited and waited and finally the security people said to me - If you are going to give that to Josh you had better hurry. So I popped it on the stage when he was introducing Craig to the crowd close to the end. I was so peeved at Darren. Anyway Josh loved it. He pulled out the Boomerang and pretended to throw it and I also bought him a tube of Vegemite with which he was enthralled that it was in a tube. I also gave him a Joshy bag to give to GFC so they can auction it off at the next Charity Auction. I know some US Grobies woudl love to get their hands on that, so it should bring a good donation. I wrote a card that explained about the Aussie Monopoly etc so hopefully he will get to read that too. I asked about him coming back in January and he said it would probably be February and they were looking for a TV show. So I dunno what that means. All in All - it was a fabulous last concert and when I turned in my seat I could see Felicia and Febrini during the concert. The look on Felicia's face said it all. It was wonderful. I had 7 friends with me and they were all 'over the moon' about Josh which was fabulous coz they weren't huge Josh fans before. I think we're going to need more than one packet of Grozac. Angela.....get busy!!! ;D

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!! Thanks Farida, Lauren,. Seredane and Cherri for your fantastic concert reports!!!!!!! It sounds like it was a terrific night ..... Josh's last concert Down Under *sniff*. I wonder why he didn't do Awake? Oh well, I suppose he had his reasons. So nice of him to sign afterwards. Glad to hear you ALL got your gifts to Josh! They sound like great gifts too, so it would have been a shame if you couldn't give them to him.
Darren sounds like he was a little snarky. Maybe lack of sleep? Anyway, I reckon we're (Aussie fans) are saints compared to some of the other fans he has encountered along the way.
THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE. I felt like I was there reading your stories.
Luv, Angela
PS: More Grozac coming up.

hello grobies!!
need. more. grozac.
it's a pity he didn't notice felicia's and febrini's poster: YOUR FLY'S UNDONE. that would have been hilarious!
febrini, felicia and myself tried stalking him in the airport but before that we drove around west perth blasting his music from the car...don't give uppppp.. we also searched the internet for flights. we weren't sure whether he's taking perth-sydney-manila or perth-singapore/brunei etc- manila so we took our chances with the international airport. needless to say....no josh.
in the car we were mixing his songs together in our pursuit for josh....don't give upppp....oh darling can't you see, it's now or neveerrrrr...it's NOW or NEVERRR
thank you everyone! farida, for keeping me posted coz i've been so blur; febrini and felicia, for your wheels and stalking abilities; cherri, for bringing grobies together and having connections! sam, shannon, sandra, jen, trish, lauren and all the grobies!
hugs and kisses!

I'm a bit late to post the review, cos most of them have been well said by other Perth Grobies I'm still having a very bad PCD... What makes it worse is...during the actual concert... even though I look excited, I felt calm inside.. I wanted to get hyped, with the goosebumps and all that, but I didn't have all those!! Only after the signing session and after Josh left... then reality hit.... did I just see Josh in concert?? It seemed surreal, felt like I was in fantasyland or something. Time passed by so quickly it was over in a blink of an eye.... but luckily I still can remember all the highlights before, after, and during the concert. Despite my short term memory (I'm a real life Dory...) Well, like Farida said, we got there early. My sis was parking the car when I saw Adeleine talking to this big guy.. In turned out to be Joey... some security guy from Josh's team. Then not long after... we met Andre, he was also part of Josh's band. He told us he's just a musician... we found out later that he's actually the bassist!!! Andre's such a sweet guy.. he reminds me of Hagrid.. he almost blurted out where they were staying... but then he said he'd forgotten He also told us Josh wasn't in the venue, he's still yet to come, and told us about the gate where he would get in. So we looked for the gate, and Sandra and her mum were already there. Lucky for us, not long after (less than 5 mins) a tarago came, and we saw Josh waving at us! we went hysterical!! Then we spent our time before the concert exploring the venue.. just in case we could bump into Josh hahahaha but we weren't successful. Ok. during the concert, everything is pretty much well told above Josh will probably remember about the pregnant girl from Perth And we were having the time of our lives when we were in the Mosh Pit! My special moment was when he sang "Canto Alla Vita", I sang along and I noticed Josh's eyes were scanning through all the gals standing at the front. When he saw me through the corner of his eyes, I waved, and he smiled!!!! <3 After the concert, we waited at the gate where we saw him earlier that day, and there were queues of ppl waiting to get autographs. It was a quick one, and Perth Grobies are such well behaved ppl and Josh signed basically everything we gave to him, and he actually took his time to sign them one by one... not just quick scribbles of initials like other celebs do. And even though Darren told us the rules about "one item only", I was a bit naughty and in the end I got 3 items signed by Josh. Can't complain about that hee hee. I also got the chance to ask Josh whether his hair is naturally curly or not, and he said "Yes it is, actually" ;D Overall, it was the best concert I've ever been to. Not only I get to meet the man I've been drooling over for the past few years, but I also gain some fantastic friends Grobanites are such friendly people, I'm lucky to be a part of them Cherri, thanks so much for organising everything for Perth Grobies. Farida.. finally your dreams came true (seeing Josh's nostrill??? HAHAHA), Adelene the lucky gal (I'm so green with envy! heheheh), Sam... congrats for giving Josh didgeridoo, I'm sure he'll figure out how to play it in no time, since he's so talented in music. Shannon.. you seem so shy, but you're such a wonderful and sweet person. Sandra and her mum, I admire your youthful spirit... Adelene... I salute you for your "craziness" (i mean it in a good way), that Josh even noticed you I bet if Josh ever release DVD on his concert in Oz, your banner will be included the DVD! probably in documentary part, at the least... And if I can quote what you said that night, "Josh's songs made us want to be a better stalker... Don't give up, it's now or never" hahaha you're hillarious!

I've been taking my grozac every 2 hours. Just when I thought I got over my PCD, I watched the videos that I took during the concert and my PCD is back.
I'll post a close up pic of him smiling. Me, Febrini & Adelene were screaming in the car when we saw that pic. I didn't even know that I was standing that close to him.
Big thanks to everyone who organise the meet up before the concert and to Adelene who's brave enough to take on my suggestion to write I'm pregnant and showed it to Josh.
Hopefully we can meet up soon to exchange photos and videos. -Fel-

We can still use "your fly's undone" since he hasn't seen it. Or Farida's suggestion, "be my son in law" Remind me again why didn't we take a pic with Andre? He's really nice, and if only we asked more (like his flight from here to Manila), I'm sure we'll get to see Josh at the airport. Actually I want to have a pic with Tariqh. He saw me in the mosh pit and he noded at me. Took you a while to realise what you've done eh? that's alright, you've left quite an impression on everyone, not just Josh. hopefully you, your top and your banner, will be mentioned in the DVD.

I apologise if I upset anyone in saying this, but I don't think it's a good idea to put "your fly's undone" on a poster and show it to Josh...I don't think he would find it amusing at all, and I think he would probably be very humiliated and embarrassed by it...
I know it's easy to get carried away and forget that he's just a human being like the rest of us, but that's what he is, and we should treat him like one...
By saying such a thing, especially in such a public place, I think he would be totally humiliated, and I wouldn't be surprised if it would make him angry either. He has expressed in the past that he hates when people refer to or even try to touch his privates...he's a human being (and a great one at that) - let's treat him with some respect...
Again, I'm not trying to upset anyone here.
