Oh no!!!! It will be awful if it's cancelled!! I'd only just decided five days ago to attend (but have not done anything about flights yet).
Let us know the minute you hear anything further.

D: Oh nooooo! Josh must be coming, he just must! The notice on the website says: Please Note: This event will no longer be sold through Ticketek or take place at The Supreme Court Gardens. All existing customers will be contacted shortly with updated details So, maybe it's just a change of venue?!? *hopes*

Just got an email from ticketek,
Dear Ticketek Patron, The upcoming Josh Groban concert that was to take place in the Supreme Court Gardens on 14th October 2007 has been moved ! The concert will now be taking place at a different venue and through a different ticketing company.
So at least its not cancelled, (and touch wood- that doesn't happen)

Whew! But that's so strange. Why would they suddenly decide to give selling tickets over to someone else? Ah well. As far as a change of venue goes, maybe it's for the best. I was initially a little worried about the whole outside concert thing in October.

According to Ticketek, the concert will now be at the Challenge Stadium (yuck!) and tickets are now sold by Ticketmaster. People with existing tickets will be issued with new ones. Whether we will be getting the same seating numbers, God only knows! I'm extremely disappointed on how his Perth concert has been handled, talk about unprofessional!! Let's be honest, Perth is living up to its reputation of being Dullsville. Sydney has 4 sold out shows, and we can't even get one organised without hiccups!

Ah, okay. So I guess Josh's management decides to change venues (for whatever reason) and because ticketmaster is the ticketing agent for Challenge Stadium instead of ticketek, it all gets switched over. But hrm. This means the people who've booked places to stay in the city can't just walk down to the show! :/ But I go to the Wildcats games at the stadium every now and again, and it doesn't seem that big... won't that be a good thing, then? Smaller venue? Everyone able to actually see Josh? But it's been a while, perhaps my memory has shrunk it. It seems to be the venue of choice for many popular international acts, so... *shrug* We shall see!

Dear Lord, I think I'm going to be sick - it had better not be cancelled - and if it is moved to challenge stadium then we had better damn well get seating tickets that reflect our previous ones. Why does Perth always have problems??? I just don't get it. What an absolute mess. I'm sure there was a good reason - but all the same......

i was told by DCE that the change is for the best (whatever) and that the new venue is more 'intimate' (in other words....SMALLER) this really sucks. josh will never come to perth again! ok, i'm designing a josh t-shirt to wear for his concert. if anyone's interested please let me know. farida has seen the basic design (and i'm still finalising it)

Here's the word from Ticketek:
The up-coming performance of Josh Groban has been transferred from the Supreme Court Gardens venue to the Challenge Stadium (Mt. Claremont) at the same time and the same date - Sunday 14 October, 6.30pm for reasons of both convenience and economies of production, as well as every patron will now be completely weather protected in the event of inclement weather.
Your tickets will be automatically re-allocated through Ticketmaster and posted to your address with no anticipated loss of disposition to the stage and performance. The new allocation of tickets will be based on the order and time of your original ticket purchase through Ticketek.

And here's the rest of the email from Ticketek: Ticketmaster will be in contact with you shortly with your new allocation and tickets.*
Should you consider that the transfer of the performance not to your liking on the receipt of your new tickets, you will be entitled to a full refund. You must request this refund prior to Monday 8 October, 5.00pm so that your tickets may be offered for re-sale.
Any refunds to be carried out will be issued by Ticketmaster. To obtain a full refund, you must mail your replacement Ticketmaster tickets to:
Ticketmaster - Perth Administration GPO Box N1111 PERTH WA 6001
Please note, your Ticketek ticket can not be used to obtain a refund.
Enjoy the show!
