WOO HOO!!! Thanks for that Yvette!!! Hope it wasn't too hard getting them? No worries! It was reasonably easy actually...but they were going fast! You couldn't afford to keep going back and forth trying to get better seats (I tried) coz they just kept going so quickly. The seats we have are reasonably good I think...(at least I hope so! ) Aww shucks, really? ;D It'll be so much fun, I can't wait! ;D

I have very exciting news ;D I didn't want to say anything until it was confirmed this afternoon..............I'm going to meet Michael tomorrow!!!!!! ;D An incredibly generous young lady won the opportunity on a radio station and she didn't want to go herself. I happened to be the first to reply. We get to go the soundcheck in the afternoon and then meet Michael, which includes photos and autographs and then of course go to the show. Evidently we are allowed to ask questions and if no one is asking anything, they will wrap it up early...............so if any of you have any suggestions...please help me.

WOW!!!!!!!
What a great night! I hope you don't mind if I post what I wrote on Michaels site, but I'll add a bit more for you. I actually got to put my arm around him for the photos ;D and even almost tripped into his lap ;D. His comment was something like "don't start falling for me". I mentioned to his assistant that I had hoped to thank Michael for introducing me to Josh (on Michael's concert dvd), but that Michael was my "first",and I asked her to pass it on to him. As we were about to leave, Michael happened to mention something about Josh Groban to us and I yelled out something stupid like "yeh" and threw my arm up. Poor Michael just turned around on the stage and started to walk away.
We spent about an hour at the sound check, but didn't get a lot of time to talk to Michael as there were delays with setting up the equipment, but he was incredibly gracious in making the time to have a professional photographer take photos with us and concerned with making it a great experience for us. During the sound check, whilst Michael wasn't singing he was throwing a football around the stadium to anyone happened to be there. He threw it to my husband a few times, along with a couple of the other ladies (there was only 8 of us), but when he tried to throw it to Isaac, a young eleven year old boy who was in the group, Isaac was too excited and awestruck. Isaac evidently sings himself and loves to sing Michaels songs. At the end we were ushered out as Michael didn't want us to see a surprise that he had organized for the show. I won't tell you about that and spoil it for those who haven't seen the show yet.
We had great tickets to the show, only four rows from the front and almost in the middle of the stage, but I didn't take many photos of the concert, as I just wanted to enjoy the show. I've found that at previous concerts for other artists, that you lose some of the emotion of the show while you are bothering to take photos. As it turns out, there was too much glare from the lighting where we were sitting anyway. The show was amazing and Michael appeared to have a great time himself and at the end he seemed overcome by the reaction of the crowd. I'll let others talk about the show itself as I'm sure they can describe it much better than I could.
We both had an incredible night thanks firstly to an amazing young lady and also to Natalie from Warner bros, Michael's assistant and of course Michael.

Cheryl, you are sooooo lucky. I'm glad the concert was great and that you had a good time meeting him - so lucky so few of you - a once in a lifetime chance - good for you. I have tickets to his concert on the 21st June. I hope the concert will be just as good for me!

Cheryl that's awesome news! I'm so glad you had such a wonderful time, and I'm sure those memories will be with you for a very long time! Congratulations ;D Fran, we have a group of Grobies going to the show on the 21st! Perhaps we could all meet up beforehand (and I'm sure afterwards as well according to Grobie tradition! ;D) and have dinner before the show...it would be great to finally meet you! Yvette xo
